Weekly Photo Challenge: Inside

Baby Blue Birds Inside

I so wanted the birds to peek out from the inside while I was taking this shot. They say the camera makes a sound we cannot hear, but that bothers other creatures. I believe it. These little guys were so cute! But they decided to stay inside for us, at this time. Wise move, I’m sure.

An interesting selection for the theme… and it works. Rather than photographing what is inside… you have shown us the “window” to the inside and peaked our curiosity wondering… “…what is going on inside the hole?” Very well done.

Wow! Galen, thanks so much for this kind comment, and welcome to Home’s Cool! There is a hint of blue on the left, inside, of the hole, but even then, we can only guess . . . . We love our birds, appreciate their constant return and flitting about our yard all blue and skittish. I’m so glad you enjoyed this post! Visit again, soon!

There is the tiniest patch of deep blue INSIDE the left side of the entrance. I suspect it is the mama, but I never go so close that I would frighten them.
This was a zoomed in shot. I took several but could not capture their movements and was happy just to get a bit of mama’s wing or tail.
I would be fun to climb in there and interview the family, but I suspect they would flee! 😉

Yes, my house in the background, and my truck! My husband did not buy me a car. Ha! But since our children are grown and have their own lives, I don’t need a mini-van anymore! 🙂
I’m glad you like the photo. It’s rustic because it is amazingly ancient, almost doesn’t hold together these days. Ha!

Comment! Because we want to know what you think!
