Forget Frost on the Pumpkins!

Look what I got for frost on the pepper patch!

Jalapeno pepper harvest

Jalapeno pepper harvest. Cannot breathe around these, hence the bag. But DO notice: many of these are striped with heat stripes!

Thanks to an abundant planting, careful tending, and a heavy frost, my son’s pepper patch yielded all these beauties, for the last pickin’. So glad to get them, as our pepper plants did poorly this year.

Thanks, J&J! And thanks to the kiddos of theirs who picked them. πŸ™‚

I agree. We love to share, but have been having a TIME trying to get anything to grow. Our garden needs the nutrient they stopped selling b/c you can make bombs out of it or something. I am sure I don’t understand it, but ah, well. :-\

Hello, Sans! Long time no see! πŸ™‚
Peppers like heat. I guess that’s the trouble? Some of those in the photo were real hotties. πŸ™‚ Sorry you cannot grow your own, but I believe you. Perhaps in a heated greenhouse?
      Thanks for stopping by! πŸ™‚
